This Refund Policy is effective as of February 18, 2026.
At Alpha demo, we believe you should never have to buy something blind. That's why every account gets 5 free tests in each category — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking — with full AI evaluation, before you ever pay us a rupee. Because this trial gives you a genuine, risk-free way to evaluate our platform, we operate a strict no-refund policy once a package has been purchased. All packages are a one-time purchase — there are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
1. Your Free Trial Before You Buy
1.1 5 Free Tests, Every Category
Before you spend a single rupee, Alpha demo gives every user 5 free tests in each category — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking — with full access to our AI evaluation engine. That's 20 complete tests you can take, score, and review at no cost whatsoever.
1.2 Why We Offer This
The free trial exists specifically so you can evaluate question quality, scoring accuracy, the user interface, and overall platform fit before committing financially. There is no time limit pressure and no credit card requirement to start.
1.3 This Is Your Evaluation Window
We consider the 5 free tests per category a complete and sufficient trial period. Any purchasing decision made after using this trial is treated as an informed decision, made with full knowledge of the platform's content and features.
2. Our No-Refund Policy
2.1 All Purchases Are Final
Because Alpha demo provides an extensive free trial (5 tests per category) before any purchase, all one-time package purchases are final and non-refundable once payment is completed — regardless of how much of the paid package has been used.
2.2 Digital Product Policy
Alpha demo is a digital product. Once a package is purchased, access to premium tests, AI evaluation credits, and platform features is unlocked immediately. Because this value is delivered instantly and cannot be 'returned', we do not offer refunds for change of mind, unused tests, or early cancellation.
2.3 No Partial Refunds
We do not issue partial refunds for unused tests. If you purchase a package and use only a portion of it, the remaining, unused tests are not refundable in cash.
2.4 Score or Result Dissatisfaction
Refunds will not be issued on the basis of dissatisfaction with an AI-evaluated score, band result, or feedback. Since the same AI evaluation engine and question banks are available during the free trial, this outcome is fully assessable before purchase.
2.5 Package Upgrades Are Also Final
You may upgrade to a higher package at any time. An upgrade is itself a one-time purchase, paid once with no recurring charges. There is no downgrade path once you upgrade, and the amount paid for an upgrade is non-refundable — even if you decide not to use the additional tests it unlocked.
3. Situations Not Eligible for Refund
3.1 Change of Mind
Deciding you no longer want the package, found a cheaper alternative, or simply changed your mind after purchase.
3.2 Not Using the Package
Forgetting to use the tests included in your package, or purchasing a plan larger than you needed.
3.3 Skipping the Free Trial
Choosing to purchase directly without using the 5 free tests per category that were available to you. The trial being unused does not extend refund eligibility.
3.4 Device or Connectivity Issues
Problems caused by your own device, browser, microphone, or internet connection during an exam attempt are not the responsibility of Alpha demo and are not grounds for a refund.
4. Narrow Exceptions We Do Review
4.1 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you were charged more than once for the same package, or charged an incorrect amount due to a checkout or billing system error, we will investigate and correct the charge, including refunding the duplicate amount.
4.2 Unauthorised Transactions
If your payment method was used without your authorisation, report it immediately to [email protected]. We will investigate alongside our payment processor and take appropriate action, which may include a refund once fraud is confirmed.
4.3 Confirmed Platform Failure
If a verified, platform-wide technical failure entirely prevented you from accessing a paid package for an extended period — and our engineering team confirms the fault was on our end, not your device or connection — we may offer a credit extension or partial refund at our sole discretion.
4.4 Reporting Window
Exception requests must be reported within 7 days of the transaction or incident, along with supporting evidence (transaction ID, screenshots, error logs). Requests made after this window will not be considered.
4.5 Discretionary, Not Guaranteed
Approval under this section is assessed case-by-case and is not automatic. Meeting one of these criteria does not guarantee a refund will be issued; Alpha demo retains final discretion on all decisions.
5. One-Time Purchase — No Recurring Charges
5.1 No Subscriptions, No Auto-Renewal
Alpha demo does not sell subscriptions. Every package is a single, one-time purchase for a fixed number of tests. There is no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, and no future charge will ever be made to your payment method without a new, separate purchase you initiate yourself.
5.2 Nothing to Cancel
Because there is no recurring billing, there is no subscription to cancel. Your purchased package and remaining tests stay on your account and simply run out once you've used the number of tests included in that package.
5.3 Account Suspension for Misuse
If an account is suspended or terminated by Alpha demo due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions (such as account sharing or abuse of the platform), no refund will be issued for any remaining, unused tests in that package.
6. How to Raise a Billing Concern
6.1 Step 1 — Contact Support
Email [email protected] with your registered account email, the transaction ID or invoice number, and a clear description of the issue.
6.2 Step 2 — Provide Evidence
For duplicate charges or unauthorised transactions, attach your bank/card statement or payment confirmation. For platform failure claims, include screenshots or error timestamps.
6.3 Step 3 — Review & Response
Our billing team reviews all requests within 5 working days and will respond with a decision. Approved exception refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
7. Policy Changes & Contact
7.1 Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our pricing, product structure, or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
7.2 Acceptance at Purchase
By completing a purchase on Alpha demo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy, including the no-refund terms described above.
