Alpha demo Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of February 18, 2026.
Welcome to Alpha demo — Pakistan's AI-powered IELTS preparation platform. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, including all four IELTS modules, mock tests, AI evaluation tools, and the institute management dashboard. By subscribing to or accessing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Account & Access
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age and provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information provided is truthful and accurate.
1.2 License
Upon successful purchase, Alpha demo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access IELTS study materials, practice tests, and AI evaluation tools for personal, non-commercial use, for as long as your purchased package remains active.
1.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Account sharing between multiple users is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
1.4 Institute Accounts
Institutes registering on Alpha demo agree to these terms on behalf of their organisation and all students enrolled under their account. Institute administrators are responsible for ensuring their students comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services & Content
2.1 IELTS Preparation Platform
Alpha demo provides a comprehensive computer-delivered IELTS preparation platform including AI-evaluated practice tests, full mock exams, and structured study modules for all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking (Academic).
2.2 AI Evaluation
Our AI evaluation engine is trained on thousands of examiner-graded responses and closely follows the official IELTS marking criteria. Band score estimates provided are indicative only and typically fall within 0.5 of a human examiner's assessment. These are estimates and do not guarantee your official IELTS result.
2.3 Institute Dashboard
Institute subscribers gain access to a dedicated management dashboard enabling student roster management, performance analytics, manual evaluation override for Writing and Speaking tasks, and detailed score report exports. All student data managed through the dashboard is subject to our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Platform Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, add, or discontinue any features at any time to improve user experience, incorporate updated IELTS standards, or for technical reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
2.5 General Training Module
Currently, the platform supports IELTS Academic modules only. The General Training module is under active development and will be made available in a future update.
3. Payments & Refunds
3.1 One-Time Purchase, No Subscriptions
Alpha demo does not operate on a subscription model. Every package listed on our Pricing page is a single, one-time purchase for a fixed number of tests, with no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, and no future charge to your payment method without a new purchase you initiate yourself. All fees are displayed in the applicable currency and are subject to applicable taxes. Alpha demo reserves the right to revise pricing with prior notice.
3.2 Free Trial Before You Buy
Every account receives 5 free tests in each category — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking — with full AI evaluation, before any purchase is required. This trial is your opportunity to evaluate question quality, scoring, and platform fit before spending money.
3.3 Account Activation
After successful payment verification, your package will be activated automatically. If activation does not occur within 1–2 working days, please contact us at [email protected].
3.4 No-Refund Policy
Because of the free trial described above, all one-time package purchases are final and non-refundable once payment is completed, regardless of how much of the package has been used. This includes dissatisfaction with your AI-evaluated score, unused tests, or a simple change of mind.
3.5 Package Upgrades
You may upgrade to a higher package at any time. An upgrade is itself a one-time purchase, paid once with no recurring charges. There is no downgrade path once you upgrade, and amounts paid for an upgrade are non-refundable.
3.6 Package Test Limits
Each package includes a defined, fixed number of practice tests and mock exams as stated at the time of purchase. Each test may only be taken once. Once all included tests are consumed, no additional tests will be provided without purchasing a new package or upgrade.

4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Ownership
All content on Alpha demo — including but not limited to practice questions, reading passages, audio recordings, study materials, AI algorithms, software code, branding, interface design, and scoring rubrics — is the exclusive intellectual property of Alpha demo or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
4.2 Prohibited Acts
Users may not copy, reproduce, record, screenshot, scrape, download, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit any materials, content, or proprietary systems from the platform without prior written consent from Alpha demo.
4.3 User Content
By submitting Writing or Speaking responses on the platform, you grant Alpha demo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use anonymised versions of those responses solely for the purpose of improving our AI evaluation models. We will never publish or share your responses with third parties in an identifiable form.
5. Disclaimers & Liability
5.1 Independent Platform
Alpha demo is an independent IELTS preparation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. 'IELTS' is a registered trademark of its respective owners.
5.2 No Score Guarantee
Our AI-generated band score estimates and feedback are designed to assist preparation and are not a guarantee of performance in the official IELTS examination. Actual results may vary depending on individual performance on the day of the exam.
5.3 Service Availability
While we aim to maintain 99.9% platform uptime, Alpha demo shall not be liable for temporary service interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance, technical failures, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
5.4 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpha demo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity.
6. Data Privacy
6.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of Alpha demo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains in full how we collect, process, store, and protect your personal data, exam results, and usage information. By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.
6.2 Institute Data Responsibilities
Institute administrators who manage student accounts on behalf of their organisation are responsible for ensuring that student data is handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Institute admins must obtain necessary consents from students or guardians where required.
6.3 Data Retention
Your exam history, scores, and reports remain accessible in read-only mode even after all tests in your purchased package have been used. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected].
7. Institute-Specific Terms
7.1 Administrator Responsibilities
Institute administrators are responsible for the accurate management of their student roster, including the creation, activation, and deactivation of student accounts. Alpha demo is not liable for any consequences arising from incorrect account management by institute administrators.
7.2 Manual Evaluation
Institute Pro subscribers may use the manual evaluation override feature to supplement or replace AI-generated scores for Writing and Speaking tasks. Both the AI score and the instructor score will be retained and visible to the student. Instructors are responsible for the accuracy and fairness of their evaluations.
7.3 Student Pricing
Institutes are permitted to set their own pricing for student access, provided it complies with our B2B usage terms. Alpha demo does not dictate the retail price charged by institutes to their students.
7.4 Enterprise & Volume Accounts
Institutes managing more than 200 students may be eligible for custom enterprise pricing. Please contact our sales team at [email protected] for a tailored quote.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Modifications to Terms
Alpha demo reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
8.2 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account — individual or institute — that violates these Terms and Conditions, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the security or integrity of our platform, without prior notice and without refund.
8.3 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from the use of our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
8.4 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
